
Filling the reservoir
WARNING: Using cold insulin can cause air bubbles in the reservoir and tubing. If your insulin is stored
in the refrigerator, allow it to reach room temperature before filling your reservoir. When filling the
reservoir, take care to remove air bubbles.
CAUTION: Insulin comes in different vial types, depending on your country. If your vial is different than
the one described in the User Guide, consult with your healthcare professional on how to fill your
reservoir.

Remove reservoir from package. Make sure plunger rod is fully extended.

Swab vial with alcohol.

Making sure you do not push down on the plunger, press the transfer guard onto the vial.

Push down on the plunger to pressurize the vial.

While still holding the plunger rod, flip the vial over so the vial is up, slowly pull down on the plunger
to fill the reservoir.
